Today on 22-April-2012 the whole world will be celebrating the earth day, a day to increase the awareness about the protection of nature and it’s environment. Google is celebrating the day with an animated Google Doodle. Earth Day Google Doodle Video after the jump.

Each year on Earth Day, events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment. The name and concept of Earth Day was introduced by John McConnell in 1969 at a UNESCO Conference in San Francisco. Earth Day was first observed in San Francisco and other cities on March 21, 1970, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere.

Earth Day Google Doodle 2012 is animated and full of nature. Google is written with the plants and flowers are growing on it, giving an idea about the beauty of the nature. Google is giving us all a message that we should save this earth and nature from pollution and all other negative factors which can harm its beauty.
