How To Disable Facebook Timeline For Profiles on Mozilla Firefox? [Working]

If you want to disable Facebook Timeline then you landed to the right page. This tutorial will help you to disable Facebook Timeline from your Mozilla Firefox Browser. Check out the tutorial after the jump.

The tutorial will help you viewing your old profile permanently and works with Mozilla Firefox [for other browsers, links are given below].

How to Disable Facebook Timeline for Profiles?

The tutorial is 100% working and tested by us. You need to install the Mozilla add-on called “Timeline Remove” and you will see yours and your friends’ profiles Timeline free. Follow the simple steps below.

Step 1:

Open the Link for Mozilla Extension, “Allow” the add-on. It will take few seconds to download.

 Step 2:

Now click on “Install” to install the ad-on in your browser.

Step 3:

Refresh your Facebook Profile page or restart your Mozilla Firefox (browser). You will see your old profile.

How to Re-Enable Facebook Timeline on Your Profile?

You can easily toggle between enable and disable. Just you need to change settings of the Mozilla Ad-on. Follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Click on “Tools” from the menu bar and then on “Add-ons”. Or Press “Ctrl+Shift+A” to open Add-ons manager.

Step 2:

Find TimelineRemove Add-on and click on “Disable” to view your profile in Timeline mode again.

Step 3:

Restart the browser to apply the new changes.

Note:

Repeat the process and “Enable” the button disable Timeline.

  • Press Enable Button -> To Disable Facebook Timeline
  • Press Disable Button -> To Enable Facebook Timeline

All these changes can be only view-able by you and your friends will see your Timeline even if you disable it from the extension.

    i installed this on my laptop running windows vista .. the next day the screen burned out.. not fault of this app… so i tried to install it on my desktop with win xp and i get this message…”  (timeline…xpi)” could not be installed because firefox can not modify the needed file.”  the thing worked wonderful and i highly recomend it f the facebook nazi’s don’t keep trying to kill it!

    It works, but now everyone (except pages) doesn’t appear to have timeline. Weird since I planned on telling people.

    Thanks…this app works, the only problem I am having is a script error when the app is enabled, and my browser freezes.  I am using Firefox, my system is Vista,  have not tried it with the Google Chrome. Java is updated as well as the latest version of Firefox. Is anyone else experiencing a script problem?

      For disabling you have to follow the instructions that are above the “Re-enabling tutorial” ! I think you disable it then again enable it, following the whole tutorial!

    If using Firefox, it disables also the view of your friends’ wall when looking at their. But since this week, this addon doesn’t work anymore. Thought it was my Firefox since it has been updated. But no. Installed older versions ame thing. Must be Facebook.
