ASUS has recently announced couple of innovative AMD Fusion APU-based netbooks, named as the 10.1-inch Eee PC 1015B and the 12.1-inch Eee PC 1215B. The 1015B featured with both AMD’s 1.2GHz single-core C30 or 1GHz dual-core C50, together with Radeon HD 6250 graphics, whereas the 1215B packs the 1.6GHz dual-core E350 along with Radeon HD 6310 graphics.
Each of the device is capable of storing up-to 500GB of data using standard HDD. For connectivity there is WiFi b/g/n and as an alternative Bluetooth 2.1+EDR or 3.0+HS, on your choice. ASUS Eee PC 1015B is equipped with 2GB of RAM while it’s 4GB for the 1215B. Additional features include three USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0, 10/100 ethernet, VGA, HDMI, audio input/output and a multi format memory card reader.
The resolution of 1015B’s screen is 1024 x 600 pixels, whereas the 1215B’s screen resolution is up-to 1366 x 768 pixels. When we talk about the battery backup, the 1015B can work for up to 8.5hrs (C30)/7.5hrs (C50) on the 6-cell battery, or 3.5hrs (C30)/3hrs (C50) on the 3-cell battery, while the 1215B can work for 8hrs by using its standard 6-cell.
